Bands in Finland
Yhtyeet.net is a website displaying quality bands in Finland. All the musicians are either studying music or have already graduated from schools like Pop & Jazz Conservatory, Helsinki Polytechnic School “STADIA” or Sibelius Academy. Because of the high education and experience level of all the musicians the musical cervices are of high quality and highly versatile. Also the large web of over 200 different musicians guarantees the availability of any fine tuned music act.
Antti Saksa
Yhtyeet.net website was designed by the bass player Antti Saksa. He was born in the year 1980 in Hamina Finland and started to study music in the age of 13. He played he’s first gig’s in the band of he’s father Harri Saksa who is working as the chief conductor of Finnish military music. During the years of going to school Antti Saksa studied music in Päijät-Häme Conservatory and Pop & Jazz Conservatory. After graduating from High School he continued to College to study music education in Helsinki Polytechnic School “STADIA”. Success in he’s studies Saksa has achieved in the form of Nokia Young Talent scholarship witch is granted for showing exceptional talent and in the form of scholarship to Berklee College of Music where he studied during the fall 2005 and spring 2006.Yhtyeet.net 21.6.06
