Jazz Trio Mertanen Miettola Saksa Jazz Trio is a band but up by three young musicians. The members of the band have been studying and performing music for long over ten years. The trio was founded in Helsinki Polytechnic School “STADIA” where Jussi Miettola “Drums” and Antti Saksa “Bass” where studying to be teachers of their instruments and Visa Mertanen “Piano” to be a Pop & Jazz musician. The musicians in the trio have got their international influences by studying and performing in countries like Denmark, Belgium, France, Brazil, Spain and the United States. Visa Mertanen Visa Mertanen the leader of the trio is also well known for he’s work in the Finnish Pop music scene. Mertanen has performed and recorded with acts like Waldo's People, Taikapeili, Ma Baker's Soul Factory, Maija Vilkkumaa and Janina Frostel.
